BELOVED SONS & DAUGHTERS OF GOD
Word received by Ginny Wade
November 10, 2023
Here is what the Lord is speaking to me this morning:
Romans 8:14
“For all who are led by the Spirit of God, are sons of God.”
Again, all who are allowing themselves to be led (being led) by the Holy Spirit, will be identified as sons (and daughters) of God.
The Lord says, “Not everyone who is called by My name (Christian) is a true son of God; only those who allow My Spirit to lead them.”
We must become a pure and mature Bride; one who is continually hearing God and being led by His Spirit.
Many will fall away. Many will be led by their own plans and will. Be careful that what you speak and do, is what He is speaking and doing.
Jesus did nothing except what He heard the Father say, and saw the Father do. So must we be DOERS of the Word, and not just hearers.
Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and DO NOT lean on your own understanding.
In ALL your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your path.”
Seeking Him continually, waiting upon Him, not running ahead, listening and leaning on Him, will keep us from following that well worn path of “tradition of man,” and “habit” and “rote.”
Let’s allow God to lead us in a new way - His way.
Let’s allow God to expand our horizons and bring us to a higher place.
HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HANDLE THAT PROBLEM?
Do you ever feel like life is just one long problem-solving exercise? Does your brain get tired of trying to figure out the "right" solution? How did they find solutions back in Bible days without the internet?
They sought God through fasting.
Fasting is denying yourself in order to hear from God. Matthew 6 tells us fasting is as important as giving and praying, "when you give...when you pray....when you fast". Yet, how many of us implement fasting into our regular schedule? It's too hard. I get too hungry. I have to fix dinner for my family anyway. I have a party to go to and it is just too tempting. I've tried, but I just can't do it. Next week. Next month. Do I really have to? Can't I just write a bigger check?
Attached in the pdf link are notes from Ginny's teaching on fasting this past Sunday.
We have corporately decided to follow the ancient path and fast each Tuesday.
We invite you to join us. Keep a journal. We want to hear how God uses fasting to
break through the walls you are facing.
WELCOME TO THE GLORY BARN!!!
What is the Glory Barn at the Midwest Regional Apostolic Center? It is a place for you to reconnect with Jesus. It is a place for inner healing. Let's face it--the world is a mixed up place. Everything seems upside down. People are divided. Families are divided. Prices are skyrocketing. Fear is rampant. We all need a place to hear Jesus. We need a place to reconnect with the excitement of loving Jesus.
That place is the Glory Barn. Once completed, we will be hosting dynamic speakers, providing a safe place to deal with inner hurts, equipping people with the skills to go out and help others, equipping people with the skills for spiritual warfare, and making connections with others throughout the country. At our last conference, we had people from eleven different states. Those connections are invaluable.
If you would like to be a part of this project, donations may be made by check or online. As a 501(c)3, your donation may be tax deductible. We stand on Proverbs 22:7, "the borrower is a slave to the lender" and are trusting God that this project will be completed debt free.
